The agenda is now live for Microgrid 2020 Global, with three content-rich days designed to educate, inform and inspire those who are interested in microgrids — on all levels.

Hosted by Microgrid Knowledge November 17-19,  the free multi-media event will bring together more than 90 expert speakers — the leaders, decision-makers and technology experts who are behind today’s microgrid revolution.

For those researching microgrids for the first time, Microgrid Global 2020 offers several introductory 101 sessions. And for industry veterans, the event provides a host of in-depth discussions and panels on microgrid development, operations, markets and policy. Special presentations will highlight notable microgrid projects and technologies.

The first day will focus on today’s vibrant microgrid ecosystem with such sessions as  “Ways Your Microgrid Can Make (or Save) Money,” and “Wind, Waves and Wildfire: How Microgrids Serve in a Time of Climate Crisis.”

Day 2, “A Vision for 2030,” looks at how microgrids are reshaping the grid and our use of electric power, with a special focus on communities and homes of the future. Participants also will have the opportunity to take part in a live, interactive “Ask Me Anything” session where businesses and organizations with microgrids will answer your questions about how it’s done.

Day 3, “Shaping the Pathway Forward,” examines drivers and obstacles to a microgrid future. Through workshopping, polling and discussion, leaders will craft next steps to ensure fast growth of reliable, low-cost and clean microgrids over the next decade.

Participants also will have the opportunity to ask questions in real time, attend exclusive ‘birds of a feather’ networking sessions, and engage with the companies making it all happen in our exhibit hall.

“The Microgrid Knowledge team has been hard at work to bring you what we believe is our most exciting conference yet,” said Elisa Wood, editor-in-chief of Microgrid Knowledge. “Wherever you are in your understanding of microgrids, you’ll find meaningful content at Microgrid 2020 Global.”

The full agenda is here. Speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The event promises to be the microgrid industry’s largest worldwide gathering yet — and its most interactive. More than 4,000 participants joined Microgrid Knowledge’s last virtual event in June.

Because space on the platform is limited, we urge you to register now to assure your free access to the event’s livestream panel discussions, presentations and interviews during the conference. (Note: Access to the on-demand content will be $99, but it is free to attend the event live.)

“Our conference platform offers a great opportunity to learn about the technology — plus, the ability to connect and interact with those who can help you move forward on your journey to adopt microgrids. And you can do so without the hassle and cost of travel. All of the content is free for those who attend live, making this a fantastic opportunity to learn how microgrids can help you achieve your resilience and sustainability objectives,” said Kevin Normandeau, publisher of Microgrid Knowledge.
