Interested in speaking at the largest microgrid gathering in the world? Apply by Jan. 9

If you want to speak at Microgrid 2023 take notice! The deadline to apply has been extended to Jan. 9.

The conference will be held May 16-17 in Anaheim, California, a state with one of the fastest growing microgrid markets in the country.

The largest gathering of the microgrid community in the world, Microgrid Knowledge's annual conference offers two days of thought-provoking content on microgrid markets, technologies, policies and customer benefits. The event features sessions geared to those new to microgrids as well as experienced microgridders.

Interest in microgrids and distributed energy technology is at an all-time high. Microgrid 2022: Microgrids as Climate Heroes, broke all-time attendance records. And Microgrid Knowledge's last event in California, a one-day forum, sold out.

Typical conference attendees include a mix of microgrid customers and microgrid providers, including businesses, institutions, government entities, utilities, microgrid developers and technology providers, policymakers, and investors and financiers.

Microgrid 2023 will focus on how microgrids enhance electric reliability, foster energy independence, lower costs and improve energy equity.

From the main stage, speakers will highlight big picture energy and microgrid themes. Breakout sessions will offer deeper insight and education.

Microgrid 2023's event planners are looking for discussion and presentations on:

  • Customer Education/Microgrid 101

  • Finance

  • Development

  • Systems Engineering/Integration

  • Controllers/Software

  • Business Model

  • Operations and Maintenance

  • Markets: Challenges and Solutions

  • Generation/Fuel

Don't wait! Apply today to speak at Microgrid 2023

Details about speaker requirements and content preferences are available on the speaker application page. The deadline to apply to speak is Jan. 9.

Because of the popularity of the Microgrid Knowledge annual conference, speakers are encouraged to apply immediately and not wait until the application deadline. Submissions are reviewed as they're received, and sessions may be filled before the deadline. Elisa Wood, editor-in-chief of Microgrid Knowledge, reports that the number of speaker applications always outpaces the number of slots available.

In addition to onstage presentations and discussions, Microgrid 2023 will feature workshops, extensive networking opportunities and a trade show floor featuring the latest in microgrid and distributed energy technologies.

There will also be a preconference workshop to discuss and plan strategies to advance pro-microgrid policy, regulation and legislation.

Microgrid 2023: Lights On! will be held at the Anaheim Marriott May 16-17, 2023. This will be the ninth microgrid event hosted by Microgrid Knowledge, the largest independent news and information site dedicated to all things microgrid.
